To enhance the above responsibilities we, Shin Nippon Lanka (Private) Limited have created, implemented and have been practising the under-mentioned policies while continuously improving the same for the betterment of all.
01. Health and Safety Policy:
New SHIN NIPPON LANKA (PRIVATE) LIMITED was registered in 2007 as a BOI Company and established in 2008. The Company obtained ISO 9001:2000 Certification from the Sri Lanka Standard Institute in 2009 and elevated to ISO 9001:2015 in 2023.
We Shin Nippon Lanka (Private) Limited provide & maintain the highest level of health & safety for all stakeholders who may be affected by its operations according to the safety & Health statutory and the norms. Therefore we;
- Train & develop employees to use working machinery & equipment in correct ways to prevent accidents & injuries.
- Motivate employees to use safety methods & equipment (safety helmet, safety glass, gloves, etc.)
- Ensure employees prevent accidents & injuries in the workplace environment.
- Build a clean, healthy, comfortable and safe workplace.
- Prevent work environment from pollution & garbage.
- Direct supervision, Periodic review and Satisfactory audit for all operations of our work.
02. Quality Policy
- All personnel at Shin Nippon Lanka (Private) Limited are dedicated to exceeding customer satisfaction in the most productive & efficient manner related to all Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing Services. This will be achieved by ensuring the usage of the most appropriate technology, very well-trained personnel, quality raw materials and well-maintained equipment. All activities will be initiated after thorough planning of each and every process within the activity.
- We always obey to comply with all legal, statutory and regulatory requirements.
- We are fully committed to maintaining and continually improving our Quality Management System which has been established to comply with ISO 9001:2015 Standards.
03. Environment Policy
Shin Nippon Lanka recognizes that in carrying out its activities it has a responsibility to customers, employees and the general public to minimize environmental impacts. The environmental policy of Shin Nippon Lanka is to;
- Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and other requirements, which relate to its environmental aspects.
- Promote environmental awareness and commitment to the policy amongst all employees and stakeholders through training and communication to encourage suppliers and subcontractors to apply sound environmental principles.
- Avoid the wastage of materials, water and energy by paying careful attention to their use.
- Prevent pollution and minimize environmental disturbance from our activities.
- Apply continual improvement by reviewing the environmental aspects related to our activities by setting appropriate targets and objectives for improving performance.
04. Good Conduct and Nondiscriminatory Policy
- It is highly believed that the motivated working environment of the company is created by the conduct of all the parties in the company. Therefore we expect that all the employees behave in an ethical, professional and harmonize way.
- The company is committed to providing a work environment free of discrimination and/or harassment. We want you to work and develop in an environment that is respectful and productive. The company prohibits inappropriate conduct based on any of the above characteristics at work, on company business, or at company-sponsored events.
